GA Milestones Testing is coming!

Georgia Milestones/End of Course Assessment begins April 30, 2018 and ends May 4, 2018. Students in grades 3-8 will take this assessment. As always, please call the school if you have any questions.

MCSS is closed for for Friday, April 6

The Mitchell County School System (MCSS) will be closed on Friday, April 6th due to safety concerns because of a recent threat posted on the internet. School Administration is working with law enforcement and school is expected to resume on Monday, April 9th at the regular time. MCSS faculty and staff also will not report to school on Friday, April 6.

Mitchell County Middle School Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read to our school. MCSS's Schools Closed for Students January 17

The Mitchell County School System (MCSS)/Baconton Community Charter School (BCCS) will be closed (students and employees will not report to school) on Wednesday, January 17th due to inclement weather conditions. School will resume on Thursday, January 18th at the regular time.
