Weathering the Storm

Chief Meteorologist Yolanda Amadeo from WALB visited MCPS campus. She gave the students firsthand information on what to do during severe weather, how rain is formed, precipitation, and so much more. Ms. Amadeo reminded the students that education is important when becoming a meteorologist. The Mitchell County Board of Education does hereby announce that the Millage Rate will be set at a meeting to be held at the Mitchell County Board of
Education, 108 South Harney Street, Camilla, Georgia, on Monday, October 2nd, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. pursuant to the requirements of O.C.G.A.48-5-32. The
Board does hereby publish the following presentation of the current year's tax digest and proposed levy along with the history of the tax digest and levy for

MCSS Closed for Students-September 13

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MITCHELL COUNTY SCHOOL:
The Mitchell County School System will be closed (students only) on Wednesday, September 13th due to power outages (Hurricane Irma). Faculty and Staff will report to work on Wednesday, September 13th. School will resume on Thursday, September 14th for students, faculty and staff. Baconton Community Charter School will be closed on Wednesday, September 13th for students/employees.
