The Human Resources/Personnel Department serves the Mitchell County School System as the central location for the well being of the employees and potential employees by serving in the capacity of employer by recruitment and the applications process. We assist with the certification and re-certification process for certified and non-certified personnel and maintain the active substitute personnel file. We oversee all Personnel Issues. We complete all survey to OCR, DOL, DOE and others. oversee worker's compensation and the Wellness Center. The Human Resources Department serves the school system employees who have complaints, concerns and/or input for the betterment of the Mitchell County School System in the capacity of liaison between the Superintendent and the Board of Education.

Compliance Director is the program we use to provide state required training. If you have any questions about why you have been directed to take any training, please talk with your Principal or Supervisor. Please contact your principal or supervisor if you did not receive an instruction sheet on how to proceed once you have gone to the website. Follow the directions given on the handout.
In each training module, you will be asked to read a segment and then you will be asked to answer a question related to the information you have just read. You will not be able to proceed unless you have answered the question correctly. You may back up and re-read the segment before you answer the question again. You must complete each module before logging out.
