Winter Holiday

The Mitchell County School System will be closed December 23-January 3 for Winter Break. Faculty and staff will return on January 6 and January 7 for Professional Learning. Students will return on January 8, 2020

On behalf of the Mitchell County Board of Education, Parrish Construction Group, Inc. is soliciting proposals from qualified subcontractors and vendors for the Mitchell Country Track & Physical Education Complex project in Camilla, Georgia. Attention: Mitchell County Residents

Want to go back to school to earn a Certificate? Diploma? Degree? Albany Technical College will be at Mitchell County High School on December 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to administer Accuplacer Test. Representatives from Admissions and Financial Aid will be on hand to work with participants. MCHS is now an approved ATC site where you can take courses here in Camilla, GA. Tax Digest

The Mitchell County Board of Education does hereby announce that the Millage Rate will be set at a meeting to be held at the Mitchell County Board of Education, 108 South Harney Street, Camilla, Georgia, on Wednesday, September 18th at 8:00 a.m. pursuant to the requirements of O.C.G.A.48-5-32. The Board does hereby publish the following presentation of the current year's tax digest and proposed levy along with the history of the tax digest and levy for the past five years. Albany Technical College Day Held at MCHS

Visit with Albany Technical College on Wednesday, July 17, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., at Mitchell County High School Gymnasium to apply, test or inquire about financial aid opportunities. You can even register for classes the same day!

MCHS's Sullivan's Scholars Attend VSU Inaugural Sullivan Summit

Charles Grissom (2018 Sullivan) and Naya Whitus (2019 Sullivan Scholar) attended the first VSU Inaugural Sullivan Summit held in Valdosta on January 26. Mitchell County Board of Education has moved to Mitchell County High School, 1000 Newton Road (Old Freshman Academy/Hall D). The Mitchell County Board of Education meetings will be held at the High School for the remainder of year: November 8, November 13, and December 11. All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. Meetings will be held at this location until further notice.
