Mitchell County High School CTAE is excited to announce a brand-new CTAE Pathway for the 2025–2026 school year: Nutrition & Food Science! This pathway is designed for students who are interested in food, science, and helping people live healthier lives. Professionals in this field play a major role in improving the health of communities by teaching good eating habits, planning balanced meals, and researching how to keep food safe and nutritious.

The My Ride K-12 Bus App is available for families in the Mitchell County School System! This app provides real-time updates on bus routes and schedules, helping parents stay informed about their child’s transportation.

The Mitchell County School District is taking nominations for the Mitchell County/Mitchell Baker High School Eagles Wall of Fame. The ultimate honor to be bestowed upon a Mitchell County/Mitchell Baker High School (MCHS/MBHS) graduate shall be induction into the MCHS/MBHS Eagles Wall of Fame. The purpose of the MCHS/MBHS Eagles Wall of Fame is to recognize graduates for their extraordinary and exceptional accomplishments, as well as motivate and influence students of what they can do with hard work.

Georgia Senate Bill 351, also known as the "Protecting Georgia's Children on Social Media Act of 2024", aims to enhance student safety and digital citizenship in Georgia's public schools. The partnership between the Georgia Department of Education and Parent ProTech has been approved by the State Board of Education. We now have resources with Parent ProTech.
