The Mitchell County Board of Education has scheduled their Whole Board Training on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Mitchell County Board of Education Board Room. This notice posted at the Mitchell County Board of Education Office on September 1, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.

Click on Title for more info. We are going to do our best to make schools as safe as possible for both students and staff. Students will be divided into two groups, a morning group and an afternoon group, in order to keep class sizes small. Classes will begin at 7:55 a.m. for the morning group and dismiss at 12:00 p.m. Classes will begin at 12:05 p.m. for the afternoon group and dismiss at 4:30 p.m.
The student's curriculum packets and assignments, for parents choosing the At-Home Option for their child, may be picked up between the hours of 5-7 p.m. on Monday, August 3 at their child's school.

April 1: Governor Brian P. Kemp signed Executive Order closing all public elementary, secondary, and post-secondary public schools in Georgia for in-person instruction for the remainder of the school term. Online instruction will continue.
